Consultancy activities:

1. Big data analytics for public administration 2019-2024

I served as a research consultant for EEA-support project for the Department for Strategic Development and Coordination of Public Administration, Ministry of the Interior of the Czech Republic. The project involved using data analytics to analyze citizens' mobility from mobile positioning data, to efficiently plan and distribute public services and public administration in the Czech Republic. I provided the technical guidance for adapting big data analytic processes and best practices to analyze mobile positioning data.

2. Machine learning based runoff prediction modelling 2018-2019

I served as a research consultant in a data-driven project for Agder Energi AS, one of the leading Energy companies in Norway. The project involves designing a suite of machine learning predictive models corresponding to sample catchments for forecasting extreme weather variables at the local level. I helped design the machine learning-based predictive models. The results of the models have the potential of minimizing the losses incurred by the company during extreme weather conditions.
